The Haibike Lyke 10 Electric Mountain Bike brings together a lightweight, stiff carbon frame, 140mm suspension front and rear, reliable Shimano components and a Fazua Ride60 system.
Fazua's Ride60 250w motor is lightweight, strong and compact for aesthetically pleasing integration and provides electric assistance up to a maximum speed of 15.5mph / 25kph. This is paired with a Fazua Energy 430Wh battery which sits within the frame and assistance is delivered in a smooth, natural-feeling manner. A ring control unit on the handlebar allows the rider to select support mode, turn on the light and use the walk assist mode with ease, while a hub on the top tube features five LEDs that provide information about battery life and mode, and even has a USB-C charging port for compatible devices. The Fazua app connects the system and allows full customisation, and charging is just as simple as the rest of the system with a charge port integrated into the frame.
Shimano's 12-speed MTB-specific SLX groupset features advanced technologies, and provides fast, accurate shifting across the wide-ranging cassette. Shadow technology stabilises the system, reducing chain slap and drop. Shimano hydraulic disc brakes deliver reliable, powerful braking no matter the conditions.
The inclusion of a dropper post allows the saddle to be moved out of the way fast for steep descents and big drops. FOX suspension components maximise control across trickier terrain, with a RockShox Lyrik Select fork up front and a RockShox Deluxe Select Plus shock to the back, both with 140mm of travel.
29" wheels are versatile and incredibly strong, rolling well and soaking up big hits and bumps across all terrains. Schwalbe Wicked Will Evo Super Trail tyres balance traction, speed and puncture protection well.
