HOKA ONE ONE was formed when Jean-Luc and Nico applied the principles and design ethos from their gravity sports backgrounds to trail running. Rethinking traditional running shoe design, they created the plush, lightweight run shoes that the brand is now known for in order to descend mountains as fast as possible, but the shoes were quickly embraced by endurance runners the world over who relished their speed and comfort.
