The 70D relates to denier, the weight of the material and in comparison to a fully fledged piece of compression clothing (closer to 200 deniers) it provides a good balance between performance, weight and flexibility for the athlete, whilst still holding onto many of the crucial compression characteristics, that gives the wearer the edge over their non compression wearing competitors.

This compression material also provides less muscle oscillation and increased blood flow, keeping fatigue at bay and reducing that unwanted lactic acid build up. This is particularly evident in the lower legs where the muscles are stabilised providing the ultimate platform for enhanced endurance. The SBR Fleece chamois is a good balance between offering immense comfort on the bike whilst being discrete enough for the run.
