When conditions are tough or the descents long, AMP’s ceramic Carbon Backed Disc Brake Pads for Shimano XT/XTR/SLX are the high-performance option. Heat conductivity through the carbon backplate is 280 times lower than aluminium and 38 times less than steel, ensuring strong, consistent performance all the way down. The plate also vibrates far less than metal plates, meaning a massive reduction in squealing and furthermore, they weigh substantially less than standard pads too.
