Assos Mille GTC C2 Kiespanzer Bib Short
Assos' GTC collection is aimed at riders going beyond the tarmac, be that mixed terrain, gravel or trails, adventure riding, racing or touring. The Mille GTC C2 Kiespanzer Bib Short delivers all-day comfort and support, durability and functionality.
Type.429 textile provides light compression to the muscles of the upper leg while allowing full pedalling freedom and retaining good breathability. The fit of this short is Assos' regularFit, which has a slightly less aggressive cut than the race performance models and a standard leg length.
A gravel-specific insert effectively absorbs vibrations and shock from rough terrain. It's constructed from MicroShock and FilterFoam, a two-layer, dual-density memory foam combined with 3D Waffle three-layer foam, while kraterCooler perforations enhance breathability. The chamois uses goldenGate stitching to the front and rear to anchor the pad while still allowing it to move with the body. An odour control top layer keeps you feeling fresh throughout.
There are four pockets incorporated into the design, two on the thighs and two on the rear. They're constructed from mesh and have pull tabs for easy access. The bib straps use X-frame A-frame suspension to support the short, stabilise the chamois and hold everything in place.
