Campagnolo Bora Ultra 35 Tubular Limited Edition Wheelset 2015
One of the legendary Italian manufacturer's flagship wheelsets, the Campagnolo Bora Ultra 35 Tubular Limited Edition Wheelset 2015 is built for lightness, aerodynamic superiority and most of all speed.
Integrating some of the most cutting edge technology in the business, these wheels offer versatility and a new wider rim profile. This 4.2 millimetre wider profile allowed Campagnolo's engineers to not only improve aerodynamics, it also means the wheels can accommodate wider tubular tyres. Bora's legendary resistance, reliability and responsiveness has been improved even further with this new wider profile.
Also differing from previous iterations is the size of the hub. The new smaller hub size reduces weight while still maintaining superb stiffness and performance. The new high-quality CULT bearings are housed in special Cronitect® steel, making these wheels nine-times smoother than the standard steel bearing system.
The new G3 Technology and Rim Dynamic Balance used within the wheels geometry and manufacturing process improves energy transfer, reduces the stress on the spokes on the right and increases transverse rigidity. Wheel vibration is also reduced and the oversized flange increases the torsional stiffness value of both the front and back wheel.
Braking on carbon rims can be a deal breaker but not with these wheels. The 3Diamant treatment improves braking grip and heat dispersion to the point that the surface feels and responds similarly to an aluminium surface.
Aerodynamic spokes with an anti-rotation system ensure strength and a drag profile that minimises wind resistance through and around the wheels.
The 35 millimetre rim profile is great for all-round use, especially on hillier routes.
