Perfect for sportives, commuting or general everyday riding, the Synapse features unique dampening, comfort technology. SAVE PLUS is a micro-suspension technology designed specifically to reduce road shock and vibration, which results in reduced fatigue and increased comfort, ultimately allowing you to ride longer and faster over less than perfect road surfaces. Cannondale incorporate this into the manipulation of the tubing so that it is barely noticeable compared to a race bike.

The geometry also plays a key role in ensuring a comfortable fit. Compared to the more performance orientated SuperSix range, the Synapse offers a taller head tube, a gently sloping top tube with a slightly relaxed head angle and a longer wheelbase. This results in a more upright, stable riding position. The Synapse ride geometry is relaxed and comfortable without compromising on handling or feel. This bike is definitely no slouch.

Optimised 6061 Alloy Construction ensures a light weight, stiff, durable frame whilst a carbon bladed fork with integrated SAVE technology provides additional comfort and sharp handling.

Disc equipped wheels give this bike dependable and powerful stopping in all weather conditions. Complete with rack and mudguard mounts the Synapse AL 105 Disc Road Bike offers smooth shifting courtesy of Shimano's 105 5800 11-speed groupset and the Cannondale Stage Ergo saddle provides exceptional comfort for a truly impressive ride.
