The 45mm depth of the DT Swiss ERC 1400 DICUT Disc Brake Front Wheel is a great balance between aero speed and crosswind handling. As part of their Endurance range, the wheel mixes performance, comfort and reliability, making it a great choice for almost any type of road ride.
It is tubeless-ready, but the hooked design means that it can also be used with tube-type tyres and the rims extra width, both internally and externally, matches up perfectly with modern, wide tyres of between 28mm and 32mm. This gives better aerodynamics, improved sidewall support and greater air volume for more stable cornering and comfort.
DT aero comp spokes link the rim to the 240 hub, providing strength, comfort and steering precision, with the t-head design keeping them correctly aligned aerodynamically. Rotor fitting is quick and easy using the Center Lock standard and the 12x100mm thru-axle aids handling and braking power.
