Fizik Terra Argo X1 Saddle
The Fizik Argo Terra range offers a ride-compliant, gravel-specific saddle with a short-nose design and generous ischial support for enhanced stability.
Unlike traditional saddles that encourage frequent position shifts for better leverage, the Argo positions riders more securely, promoting greater stability and improved weight distribution. The Terra Argo's shorter length allows riders to sit further forward without exerting undue pressure on sensitive areas. Additionally, it features an ergonomic cut-out, developed with detailed pressure analysis from medical experts, to enhance comfort.
The Argo is Fizik’s most versatile saddle shape, with each version tailored to different riding styles. The Terra Argo, designed specifically for gravel riding, features a compliant shell that offers a degree of flexibility. This controlled elasticity absorbs road vibrations, providing the comfort needed for long-distance riding on unpaved surfaces.
To support the Terra Argo’s flexible shell, Fizik employs a closed-loop Mobius rail system, which increases structural stability and responsiveness. The Terra Argo also has a waved profile to offer lower-back support essential for long rides, helping riders maintain their position while climbing on loose terrain. The dropped nose design allows riders to rotate their pelvis forward for better traction and power transfer. The saddle's padding is made from Fizik's proprietary Type-2 foam formulation, which is slightly thicker around the ischial bones to support a more upright riding posture. This cushioning is softer and more progressive than that found on Fizik's racing saddles, providing additional comfort over long distances.
