Fizik Transiro Aeris R1 Long Distance Tri Saddle

The Aeris Long Distance is a split-nose triathlon bike saddle designed to offer enhanced support and stability when riding in forward, aerodynamic racing positions.

Innovation in bike-fitting analysis, combined with research into cycling aerodynamics, prompted a reimagining of triathlon and time-trial saddles. In a discipline where marginal gains are essential, the ability to provide a saddle that ensures comfort in the most extreme aerodynamic positions marks a significant advancement in performance.

The Long Distance version of the Aeris is designed with a split-nose construction. The independent sections of the nose create an advanced pressure-relief system while still delivering the firm support and balance required for prolonged periods in aero positions. The rail loop at the nose adds strength to prevent asymmetrical wear and also functions as a hook to secure the bike during race transitions.

The Aeris includes an optional link to integrate a water bottle cage at the rear of the saddle. This link is designed to hold bottles at an angle that keeps them out of the way during crucial mounting and dismounting phases in transition zones. Compliant with UCI regulations, the Aeris is equipped with a revolutionary rail insertion that not only enhances aerodynamic performance but also allows a wide range of adjustability, essential for achieving the ideal forward position to minimise wind resistance.
