Fulcrum Racing Zero C17 Black Clincher Wheelset
Featuring a slightly wider rim than its predecessor, the Fulcrum Racing Zero C17 Black Clincher Wheelset has been developed to increase aerodynamics and versatility, whilst still maintaining a high ratio of weight to stiffness, all with the durable and dependable components Fulcrum have become known for.
Because the Racing Zero C17 has a slightly wider rim, it can take clincher tyres up to and including 25c - meaning the rim and tyre make a squarer profile. A squarer profile allows for a reduction in rolling resistance and increased aerodynamics, for a much more performance orientated ride.
The Racing Zero C17 sets itself apart from the rest of the crowd at this price point with its differentiation of rim heights, with the front comprising of a 25mm and the rear a 30mm deep rim. This gives the front end a much more maneuverable, responsive feel, whilst the rear produces the best power transfer possible. The carbon front hub and aluminium rear hub also enhance this, giving a supreme level of stiffness to the rear whilst reducing weight in the front end which also allows for a more responsive ride feel.
A 16 / 21 spoke count with a double spoke configuration on the rear driveside pushes stability and power transfer to new heights, whilst the use of USB ceramic bearing reduces weight by 30% and increases smoothness by 50% compared to standard steel bearings.

- Fulcrum 2:1 spoke ratio on rear wheel means there is double the number of spokes on the driveside for greater wheel stability and improved power transfer in the rear wheel
- 16 radial aero spokes on the front wheel, 21 on the rear
- The Racing Zero wheels feature Fulcrums USB ceramic bearings which are 30% lighter, 40% more resistant and 50% smoother compared to the steel bearings featured in the 3's 5's and 7's
