Garmin Edge 500 GPS Unit
Designed for performance cyclists, the GPS-enabled Edge 500 is small and lightweight. It tracks speed, distance, GPS position and elevation. Compatible with ANT heart rate monitor, speed/cadence sensor and third-party power meters (heart rate monitor and speed sensor included with certain models).
Offers advanced heart rate-based calorie computation when paired with Garmin's heart rate monitor strap (included with HR/CAD model). The Edge 500 features a high-sensitivity GPS receiver with HotFix satellite prediction to calculate your position faster. It also has temperature readings and a moving alert that warns if you're moving but the timer is not running. Edge 500 features a low-profile, quarter-turn mount that fits on stem or handlebar. Once your ride's done, you can upload to Garmin Connect for detailed analysis and mapping.
