Garmin HRM-Pro Plus Heart Rate Monitor
Garmin's top of the range heart rate monitor, the HRM-Pro Plus is more than just your average strap, offering so much to the user. The successor to the HRM-Pro, the unit now has a tool-less battery door design, where the CR2032 is housed, and the pod is now white, not yellow.
Accurate real-time heart rate and performance data is delivered via ANT+ and Bluetooth to a connected compatible watch, head unit or other device so goals can be reached. Even when not wearing a watch, the HRM-Pro Plus captures steps, calories burned, intensity minutes and more.
An area where this unit differs compared to simple heart rate monitors is that it captures running dynamics, including vertical oscillation, ground contact time, stride length and vertical ratio, allowing improvements in form. When connected to a Garmin smartwatch, pace and distance can be recorded and transmitted to the watch even when running indoors, so your choice of training isn't limited to tarmac or trails.
The soft, comfortable strap has plenty of adjustment to fit a wide range of users, and the heart rate module itself fits fully within the width of the strap. The CR2032 battery lasts up to a year before needing to be replaced.
