The ultimate combination of ventilation and weight, the Aeon is Giro's top-of-the-line vented road helmet weighing in at under 200 grams- you'll be hard pushed to find a lighter alternative.

24 large vents are strategically placed over the Aeon, these vents are teamed with internal channels to effectively pass cool air over the top of your head and release it as hot air out of the rear vents. Giro have utilised extensive wind tunnel testing to fine tune this system to provide the optimum level of ventilation, which makes this helmet the perfect option for summer riding or long mountain ascents.

The Aeon is made using an In-Mould construction process which bonds the impact absorbing EPS foam liner to the protective polycarbonate shell, this construction method offers a distinct weight advantage over hard shell helmets. There is also a Thermoformed SL Roll Cage moulded inside the EPS foam liner; a DuPont Nylon skeleton which provides increased strength and integrity in the event of a crash.

A comfortable and secure fit is achieved through Giro's Roc-Loc 5 retention system that features an easy to use dial for micro tension adjustability as well as the ability to raise and lower the system to cater for a variety of head shapes and sizes.
