For riders that require sleek looks, sublime handling and the lowest levels of drag, the HED Jet 6 Black Carbon Clincher Rear Wheel will not disappoint. The Jet 6 Black is ideal for triathlons and time trials as the 60mm rim depth and tuned profile reduces drag across any wind angle.

HED's hybrid construction technology marries a 25mm aluminium 'Plus' rim with an aero defined UD carbon 'skin' to optimise use for clincher tyres. With a wider rim-to-tyre interface the cross sectional profile of a tyre is altered, and sidewall stability increased. The result is exceptional grip for cornering confidence, reduced rolling resistance and increased comfort.

The braking surface is engineered using 'Black Turbine' technology and stopping power is dramatically increased; with a 25% reduced stopping distance in the dry and 70% reduced in the wet. The 60mm carbon 'skin' performs better, in an aerodynamic sense, than most 80mm wheels and handles like a shallower wheel. 'Stability Control Technology' is responsible for increased cross wind stability.

The 'Sonic black' hub features high-quality ABEC 5 hi-grade stainless bearings that rotate on an oversized 15mm axle so bearing load is reduced for increased hub longevity and further contributing to the low rolling resistance. 24 Industry-leading Sapin CX-Ray spokes in a 2-cross pattern ensure the wheel is stiff and efficient for sprinting or uphill efforts.

The wheel is compatible with Shimano/SRAM and Campagnolo and a titanium quick-release skewer, valve extender and tubeless rim tape are included.
