Recommended Care Intervals

• Road Bikes: KMC recommends caring for your KMC waxed chain after a maximum of 250km, or at least once a month.
• MTB, cross, and frequent riders in all-weather conditions: Care should be done after 100km at the latest.

Rewaxing

• The chain must be dry before applying the wax.  
• Dewaxing is not required.  
• Shake the bottle and apply wax to the inside of the chain (one complete turn).  
• Do not wipe off excess wax.  
• Allow the wax to dry completely before riding, especially in wet conditions.
