Aero Gains

An immediately obvious feature is the deep aero shell, similar to a TT helmet, partially covering the ears. This extra fairing creates a far more aerodynamically efficient profile, keeping drag to a minimum. Pick up speed and enjoy the watts savings.

While optimised for speed, ventilation hasn't been overlooked. Front vents are carefully positioned to suck air into internal channels which then lead to a large rear exhaust vent. This gives targeted airflow across your head, keeping you cool when it's time to press hard on the pedals.

Tuned Safety 

Kask takes their 3D-printed Mutlipod internal padding system from their Elemento and applies it to the Nirvana. This proprietary technology utilises an isotropic elastomer material to absorb and dissipate linear and rotational impacts. Thanks to its ability to absorb forces in any direction it improves safety should you crash.

Kask WG11 Rotational Impact Test Protocol 

WG11 is Kask's own rotational impact test protocol. The objective is to create helmets that keep you safer in the event of a crash. WG11 aims to more closely mimic the real-life conditions of head impacts than current industry testing. The "pass-fail" criterion is based on the BrIC value, an algorithm defining the level of brain injury. This value must be lower than 0.68. All Kask WG11 cycle helmets pass this figure, with values substantially less than the target.
