Lake CX21C Road Cycling Shoes
With a single-piece Clarino microfibre upper and lace closure, the Lake CX21C Road Cycling Shoes are engineered for high-performance cycling but with a classic style. The upper wraps the foot snugly and securely for long-ride comfort while the lace closure allows for reliably precise adjustments, securing your foot for optimal pedaling support. An internal heel gripper also maintains foot stability, reducing unwanted movement within the shoe when you apply maximum power.
When it comes to giving a supportive pedalling platform and efficient power application, the Lake Competition 100% Carbon Fibre Sole is hard to beat. Rated 80/100 on the Lake Force Resistance Scale, it's just right for rapid accelerations out of corners, powering up climbs and sprints for the finish.
Meanwhile, the CX/TX Competition offers a race-oriented fit with a curved profile and increased toe pitch and heel lift for an aggressive riding position. It also provides a slightly wider ball girth, allowing the foot to expand naturally under high pedalling pressures, while the tighter heel ensures a locked-in feel, delivering both comfort and control on the bike.
