The Mavic E-Speedcity celebrates Mavic's comeback into the world of commuter bikes after designing fenders in the early days of the company. Mavic put 130 years of experience at the highest level of cycling to design the right wheel for your daily commutes.

The wheels are built strong and durable. The 32 solid j-bend spokes coupled with high flange hubs enable a maximum load capacity of 180kg (25% higher than the usual Mavic road wheels) to take into consideration the extra weight and loads involved by daily commutes. Mavic's E-mtb proven freewheel mechanism with automatic bearing preload perfectly handles the most powerful e-bike motors (up to 120Nm motor torque). Their smoothness saves effort from both the motor and the rider.

Mavic care about the environment and aim to reduce their carbon footprint, the aluminum alloy used to produce those rims is made of 90% of recycled aluminum. Also, those wheels are handbuilt in Europe, with components 100% sourced from Europe.

QRM Auto Bearing Preload Technology

Qualite de Roulements Mavic Auto. Cartridge bearings double sealed with e3 internal clearance. Preload is automatically adjusted to guarantee a perfect spin with no play on the long run.
