Power with unparalleled performance the ultimate combination? Well Enve think so and have created the 3 Enve SES 3.4 Carbon Clincher Wheelset with Powertap G3 hub to prove it. Using a lightweight, stiff, aerodynamic top of the range rim, pairing it with amazingly strong DT Swiss Aerolite spokes and housing the whole package around a high quality, Powertap G3 hub, giving you split second precision power measurements.

Developed by Enve aerodynamic genius Steve Smart, who used his fifteen years of aerodynamic engineering experience in the Formula One arena to good effect with these seriously quick wheels.

The 3.4 wheels are ideal for every terrain, whether that be climbing a mountain or battling the flat, windy lanes. Each wheel has been specifically designed for unrivalled speed and stability. The front rim is 26 millimetres wide and 35 millimetres deep, while the rear is 24 millimetres wide and 45 millimetres deep. Although not the deepest wheels on market, in the windtunnel they produce the same drag numbers as rival companies 50-60 millimetre deep rims.

As well as being incredibly aerodynamic they are also claim to hold the highest strength to weight ratio of any wheelset on the market.

A carbon specific brake pad compound has been used on the rim making them ideal to use in all conditions, whether that be on a baking hot summers day flying down an Alpine descent or a freezing cold, wet race, the rims will stop quickly with none of the drama sometimes associated with carbon rims.

A clincher setup makes them versatile and means all you need to do is mount your favourite tyres and innertubes onto the supplied rim tape and get riding!

20 DT Swiss Aerolite spokes grace the front wheel, while 24 on the rear add a little more strength to an already bullet proof set of wheels.

If this does not sound enough of an attractive package the Powertap G3 could be seen as the icing on the cake.

Measure real time, up to the second power wirelessly. With Ant Sport capabilities this makes the hub ideal to be paired with a Cycleops Powertap 2.4 head unit, Garmin bike computer or any other Ant Sport device.

Accuracy is the Powertap’s party piece, providing /- 1.5% precision measurements. All this is housed in an alloy hubshell that is a discrete 325 grams, keeping your bike’s weight down. Wireless, so easy to swap the wheel between bikes so ideal whether you are doing intervals in training, doing a twenty minute test in your local timetrial or wanting to check out your maximum sprint power on a weekend road race.

Durability is provided with a tough outer casing and an alloy axle for added strength and stiffness. No need to have a team of sports scientists evaluating your power files as the data can be easily uploaded onto a range of programs including Cycleops’ own PowerAgent Software for easy viewing and detailed power information.
