The Princeton CarbonWorks Wake 6560 Evo White Industries Hub Carbon Wheelset, first conceived in 2012 and launched with initial riding models in 2015, has undergone four iterations of refinement, each advancing aerodynamic performance, weight reduction, stiffness, responsiveness, and quality. Now, in its fifth generation, the Wake 6560 Evolution redefines expectations. Featuring a revolutionary new shape as the second wheelset in Princeton's Evolution series after the Alta 3532, the Evolution delivers unprecedented efficiency gains over its predecessor, the Wake 6560 Strada, marking the most significant performance leap in the Wake series to date.

The Wake 6560 Evolution’s profile is strikingly new, with alternating deep and shallow rim sections paired with alternating spoke sides. This patented Radially Staggered Lacing technology connects high-tension spokes to deeper rim sections, improving spoke bracing angles and balancing tensions for a stiffer, more uniform wheel. Exclusive to Princeton CarbonWorks road wheels, this innovation enhances ride quality and durability.

Incremental updates further elevate performance. With a wider 21mm internal and 28.2mm maximum external width, the rim is optimised for the 25-28mm tyres preferred by professional riders, improving aerodynamic efficiency at all yaw angles and enhancing stability in crosswinds. Additionally, a 10g reduction per rim contributes to the wheel’s lighter overall weight.

The Wake 6560 Evolution retains its versatile rim-brake compatibility and tubeless-ready, hooked, hole-less tyre bed. This design supports clincher, tubed, or tubeless tyres without tape and accommodates high tyre pressures, ensuring riders have the freedom to choose their preferred setup without compromise.
