Selle Italia SLR Team Edition Saddle 2014
With a long history in supporting the professional cycling scene and with many victories in the world’s biggest races, both on the road, track, cyclocross and mountain bike, Selle Italia can rightly justify calling the SLR, a Team Edition saddle. Used by the likes of Joaquim Rodriguez, number one ranked rider in the UCI Pro Tour and his Katusha Professional Cycling teammates, this saddle is more than capable of giving your bike that “pro” look, without compromising on comfort.
Lighter and with a distinctly different profile than the Flite. It does though share the same prestigious history, with numerous professional victories gained since it’s 2000 debut.
Sharing the Flite’s LORICA highly durable and abrasion resistant cover, which is easy to clean, soft to touch and wont wear your shorts out.
Compared to the rest of the SLR range, the Team Edition has more padding, fitting into the role of an all day saddle a professional rider would be proud to ride for endless miles on. This does not make this saddle a porker though, as a sleek, Carbonio Oval rail, is both light and strong and keeps this saddles weight down to a very impressive 140 grams.
A 30% carbon shell is lightweight and is a solid, stiff and supportive base for the saddle.
This saddle is available in a striking black and white colour, with trademark Selle Italia logos and attractive white highlights really set this saddle off.
A slightly narrower profile than the Flite, ideal for riders with medium width seat bones and an ideal finishing touch to any of your bikes.
