Specialized 2FO Clip Lite MTB Shoe 2016
Finally a shoe that will allow you to push your limits without pushing your footwear past its limits, the Specialized 2FO Clip Lite MTB Shoe 2016 inspires confidence.
Specialized have managed to save even more weight on the popular 2FO Clip, whilst still improving performance and durability. You will feel more in tune than ever with your bike with the stiff Lollipop™ nylon composite plate giving you optimised pedalling efficiency, without compromising use of the bike.
This a mantra that has also inspired the cushioned EVA midsole, that adds to the comfort, and the moulded heel cup which provide stability. The legendary Body Geometry sole construction and footbed tops of this comfortable design, with the added bonus of increasing power whilst simultaneously protecting against injuries. A huge number of benefits from an area most people would overlook. Additionally, the on-the-go adjustability that you get with the two independent Boa® S2-Snap dials is a huge benefit.
Your life is made even easier by the Landing Strip™ cleat pocket. What this gives you is simple riding on platform pedals. Alternatively, you can set these shoes up with two-bolt cleats - a pattern that fits all major MTB pedals. These can even be set up with a rearward cleat set up option as a result of the extended length cleat slot (4mm).
Traction is perfect off the pedals as well as on, with the SlipNot™ rubber sole. You are also protected thanks to the asymmetric toe box, giving you protection where you need it.
