Trek Rail 9 GX Electric Mountain Bike 2022
The Trek Rail 9 GX Electric Mountain Bike is a top-of-the-line, long-travel suspension offering that excels on extreme and techy terrain. The burly aluminium frame neatly integrates the Bosch Performance Line CX motor that pumps out up to 250 watts of pedalling assistance for when tackling steep ascents and draggy fire roads. This motor is powered by a long-lasting PowerTube 625Wh battery that is neatly hidden inside the frame’s silhouette, while its output level can be toggled on-the-fly via the handlebar-mounted Kiox unit. This handlebar unit also doubles as an easy-to-read display for key ride metrics such as speed, distance and time.
The aluminium frame features a straight shot down tube to afford extra pedalling efficiency and houses the RockShox rear suspension unit that offers a plush 150mm of travel. This generous amount of travel combines with an updated thru shaft damper configuration to guarantee heightened rear wheel tracking and big hit absorption. At the front of the bike, a RockShox ZEB suspension fork grants 160mm of travel to increase line accuracy when the downhills are rapid and littered with obstacles. The frame's geometry gives a poised but nimble feel but it can be fine-tuned using the Mino Link tabs to better suit specific trail demands.
Bombproof wheels pair with super-wide tubeless-ready tyres to ensure traction and control and are propelled by the slick-shifting, wide-ranging SRAM GX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain. Four-piston hydraulic disc brakes provide all the power and precision necessary in extreme conditions, and a Bontrager Line Elite dropper post affords the rider extra control at high speeds.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
