Starting off the quality is the incredibly strong and smooth-riding Trek 400 Series OCLV Carbon fibre frame that has been net moulded for supremely tight tolerances. This frame brings together many features that would, on their own, make a top quality frame. The Women's Specific Design (WSD) tuned IsoSpeed has helped many of Trek's pro riders conquer some of the roughest and most varied terrain as it doubles the frame's vertical compliance by allowing the seat tube to move independently of the rest of the frame.

Also incorporated is Trek's exclusive BB90 bottom bracket, the widest available to save weight, adds stiffness and allow for quicker accelerations. A similar theory is applied to the E2 head tube which tapers from 1.5" lower to a 1-1/8" upper. This delivers all the lateral stiffness of a 1.5" for a powerful and confident ride, but saves weight.

Trek understand that you are going to fall in love with this Silque S and therefore want to ride it all year round, so have built in vanishing mudguard mounts to facilitate all weather riding. This also highlights the potential for using this bike as a fantastic commuter option.

The Silque SSL C comes kitted out with Shimano's 105 5800 11-speed shifting, which provides a revolution in shifting accuracy, smoothness and ease at an incredible price. The incredibly comfortable Bontrager Ajna Comp WSD saddle with Chromoly rails provides the perfect amount of cushioning and support for rides of any length and the Shimano 105 5800 dual pivot brakeset ensures elite-level stopping power.

With all of these incredible features and specifications you are going to be travelling seriously fast. Thankfully, you can seamlessly keep track of just how fast as the frame is DuoTrap compatible (DuoTrap sold separately) so you can measure speed, distance and cadence with no aerodynamic drag by integrating the computer sensors into the frame.
