A premium, handbuilt option for gravel aficionados, Vel’s 30 GRSL2 Carbon Gravel Disc 650b Wheelset combines a wide, lightweight Toray 24/30T carbon rim with DT Swiss hubs and Sapim spokes, making it strong, stable and reliable for off-road adventures. The 32mm wide rim provides good support for tyres up to 2.25” wide, allowing them to maximise their air volume and remain stable in the corners. As the rim is tubeless-ready and has a double wrap of tape applied, conversion to tubeless is simple; there are even tubeless valves supplied.

The 36 tooth ratchet in the premium DT Swiss 240 EXP rear hub provides instant engagement, handy for quick accelerations and bursts of power on tricky, technical climbs off-road. Sealed bearings, thru-axles and Center Lock rotor compatibility complete the feature roster, helping keep the wheels tracking straight on rocky sections of trail. The hubs and rims are laced together using renowned Sapim CX-Ray spokes for strength, reliability and easier maintenance, with spare spokes included with the wheelset.

Crash replacement policy

Crashes, unexpected accidents and falls can happen under normal riding conditions, therefore if your product has been registered within 3 months of purchase we will offer to replace it with identical or equivalent product up to 40% off RRP within the first 3 years of ownership. This crash replacement policy only applies to the original owner. 

Limited warranty

Vel wheels come with a two year limited warranty for manufacturing or material defects that would appear during normal use, with the exception of wear and tear parts. The warranty is extended to 3 years if registered within the first 3 months from purchase date.
