Job Overview:
We are seeking an organised, creative individual looking to launch their marketing career in the cycling industry. As our CRM/Email Marketing Executive, you will work closely with the CRM Manager to plan, write, and distribute marketing emails, SMS messages, and app notifications. You will also monitor and report on the performance of these channels, contributing ideas to optimise our CRM activity. A key focus will be driving our email marketing broadcast campaigns.
● Copywriting: Create engaging, informative, and authoritative copy, aligned with the Sigma Sports tone of voice, for CRM channels and our website, with the potential to contribute to social media content.
● Asset Coordination: Collaborate with the Creative Marketing Manager to ensure all imagery, design elements, and branding assets adhere to our brand guidelines and are produced to the highest standard.
● Weekly Performance Tracking: Analyse and report on CRM campaign performance, working with the CRM Manager to apply insights and improve results.
● Strategic Support: Assist in developing audience targeting strategies, customer journeys, and segmentation protocols to enhance campaign effectiveness.
● Team Collaboration: Support the wider marketing team as needed. This may include assisting at events, contributing to content creation, and sharing ideas that align with our broader marketing objectives.
● Market Research: Stay up to date with the CRM and marketing efforts of our competitors, as well as industry trends in email and SMS marketing.
We will actively support and develop the successful candidate in this role. However, you should be:
● A rapid learner, keen to set and achieve personal development goals.
● A skilled creative writer, able to produce high-quality copy that meets a brief.
● Creatively skilled, able to produce visibly strong emails and marketing material within Sigma Sports design guidelines.
● A collaborative team player, comfortable working with colleagues across different areas of the business.
● Organised and adaptable, capable of handling a busy workload and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
We welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds. The following will be considered beneficial but are not required:
● An undergraduate degree (ideally in marketing, sports marketing, creative writing, data analysis, or design).
● In-depth knowledge of cycling, triathlon, or running.
● Familiarity with Photoshop and/or Illustrator.
● Experience with any of the following Attentive, Braze, Iterable, Mailchimp, Salesforce, Freshdesk, BazaarVoice, Reviews.IO, DotDigital, Klaviyo, Ometria, GA4, or Looker Studio.
● Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
● Basic HTML competence.
