Van Rysel RCR-F Road Bike

At Sigma Sports we are delighted to be the UK’s first independent retailer to stock Van Rysel. As well as stocking a selected range of clothing, shoes, helmets and sunglasses, ridden to multiple victories at the highest level, we will also be stocking their fantastic range of bikes and we were lucky enough to take their latest model, the RCR-F for a spin to really put it through its paces.

From Lille

Dan Jones' journey began on the streets of Lille, with a message from Sigma Sports to alert Dan to a rather special bike we required him to collect from Van Rysel's HQ and bring back to the Sigma Sports Hampton Wick store. Collecting the Decathlon–AG2R La Mondiale team spec flagship RCR-F, Dan clipped in and began the journey back across Northern France on the state of the art aero road bike.

The bike's aero capabilities really came into their own on the fast, flat and windy roads from Lille to Calais, where Dan was able to really compare the bike against the RCR, the machine he has been riding for the last 8 months, and the RCR-F's more climbing focused brother.

Crossing the channel and rolling back onto UK soil the bike's ability to provide a comfort yet engaging ride was put to the test, with some rough, steep climbs out of Kent to challenge both bike and Dan. The good news, the bike delivered on all fronts, with Dan arriving back at the Sigma Sports Hampton Wick store impressed with his first ride on the ultra fast RCR-F.
