2XU Elite MCS Thermal Compression Tight
Colder days can be painful for a number of reasons, but this no longer needs to be the case thanks to the 2XU Elite MCS Thermal Compression Tight. This tight combines all of the latest technologies from 2XU for targeted compression with thermal fabric to insulate you against the painful cold of winter.
2XU have several years of experience in boosting recovery, however, the latest products with their Muscle Containment Stamping (MCS) technology is their best yet. This system targets compression to specific areas depending on where the garment is intended to be worn, so that the muscles and tendons underneath get the correct compression required to stimulate recovery.
Superb design means that the fabrics for the front and rear are optimised for the specific muscles and tendons that they are covering. On the front 2XU's 70 Denier PWX FLEX fabric uses MCS to focus on the quadriceps, particularly useful for cyclists and runners. Then on the rear 2XU have used their 105 Denier PWX WEIGHT to target the hamstrings and calves.
As you would expect from 2XU, the compression fit is perfect and can be locked in using the drawstring waistband. Cleverly, the materials are also antibacterial, so you can use these tights without risk of odours, although the superb wicking capabilities of the materials used should mean you never build up a sweat. Additionally, they will even give you UPF50+ sun protection for those beautifully clear but chilly days.
