3T Arx II Pro Stem 17 Degree
If your bike's headtube length is preventing you from getting your handlebars low or high enough, or if you want that pro look, 3T Arx II Pro Stem 17Deg is just for you. Using the Arx's much loved design, the Arx II further refines this popular stem to make it even more rider friendly. Made from a strong 2010 aluminium, this is an incredibly lightweight and stiff addition to any road, time trial or triathlon bike.
Moving away from the less secure, allen key bolt design, the Arx II uses four Torx T25 bolts to secure the clamp and the handlebars firmly in place. Another new addition is the ovalised faceplate that emphasises the cutout 3T logo and gives the Arx II a more streamlined appearance. A single M7 bolt replaces the Arx's two bolt design and securely attaches the stem to the steerer and means you do not have to ramp the torque right up. This reduces the chances of damaging the stem or steerer.
For those needing a more extreme position, the 17° angle is a welcome addition. A versatile stem, the 1-1/8 ” ∅ steerer means it is compatible with a wide range of road and time trial bikes. Easy to match to a range of paint schemes, the Arx II Pro features bold white graphics, which are added to the shot peened, black anodised design.
