Created for cycling through the transitional seasons of the year, the Assos Equipe R Spring Fall Bib Shorts S11 are ideally suited to racing and training in ever-changing weather conditions. Using Assos’ warmest spring-fall textile yet, the tight weave provides wind protection and fends off-road spray and light rain showers.
Building upon the previous generation of R series bibs, the Equipe R Spring Fall Bib Shorts get an upgrade to materials and seat pad to make them an even better performer when weather conditions are hard to predict. The RX Extreme textile gives you an uptick in warmth, with a brushed inner face trapping the body heat you generate. Meanwhile, the eco-friendly Acqua Shield Tec water-repellent treatment prevents road spray and rain showers from soaking in. Excellent breathability also make them perfect for high-intensity training and racing efforts.
For this generation of Spring Fall bibs, Assos has omitted the double-layer crotch construction of its predecessor. This means you’ll feel warmer across legs and hips but with better thermoregulation around your core. At the thighs the PILtec Plug-In gripper system uses a super-breathable band at the leg openings for a seamless fit. Silicone microdots on the inside of the band hold your shorts firmly in place even when wet.

As such you benefit from a second-skin, aerodynamic silhouette designed with feedback from World Tour pros. The shorts give excellent 360-degree muscle compression and stability while a raw-cut waist construction eliminates pressure when you adopt more aggressive riding positions.

The latest EQUIPE R S11 Seat Pad has been updated to give a shape that better supports your body when you adopt aggressive aero riding positions. You also get 9mm of supportive foam materials with 3D Waffle. This is a 3-layer micro-perforated foam system to enhance breathability and reduce bulk.
Free-floating goldenGate 2.0 also allows the seat insert to move with your body while new cut-outs on the wings reduce friction throughout your pedal stroke.
