Forget everything you know about helmets. Designed from the inside-out to specifically house the aero ventilation elements, the Bell Star Pro Shield Aero Helmet 2016 has been developed from a completely new concept that the bicycle industry hasn’t seen before.

Focusing on performance, then styling the helmet, Bell have wind tunnel tested the Shield Aero Helmet to ensure it delivers on the enhancements it set out to time and time again. Subtle changes have been continuously thought out and this is shown in the Active Aero system incorporated into the helmet, allowing the rider to chop and change their ventilation preferences depending on their performance output. Bell have combined the Active Aero system with Bell’s Overbrow Ventilation, which draws air in from other parts of the helmet to increase breathability, but doesn’t inhibit aerodynamics.

Bell’s new strapping system holds the straps as flat as possible to reduce any drag. As minimal as this may sound, it makes a huge difference on those long slogs in the saddle. Float fit is also included, which allows the rider to optimally adjust the fit of the helmet on the go.

The fastest configuration of the helmet has been proven in the wind tunnel with a shield, or visor, hence why the Bell Star Pro Shield Aero Helmet 2016, with the ability to clip in and out of the visor, this helmet is perfect for every type of riding.
