Acting as the brain for the Campagnolo electronic groupset, the EPS 12-Speed V4 Internal Interface without Cables not only relays signals between the shifters and derailleurs but also communicates with smart phones and GPS head units via Bluetooth Low Energy and ANT+ protocols. It allows the groupset to connect to the MyCampy app in order to alter the performance of certain components, upgrade firmware and monitor various aspects of the groupset. It can be fitted into the end of the handlebar or into specific frames with a dedicated interface area on the downtube.
