The Campagnolo Shamal Ultra Wheelset 2008 (Titanium) are a clincher wheelset for those who like to take their bike over climbs, storm across the flat and corner like they are on rails.

The Shamal Ultra Wheelset is a high performance package that boasts a strong, stiff and lightweight CNC machined aluminium rim with black and red Campagnolo graphics. The rims are welded and feature a ground braking surface.

Aerodynamics have been addressed with a 26 millimetre front wheel rim depth paired with a 30 millimetre depth for the rear. This also results in a lightweight, fantastic handling front wheel and a stiff and responsive rear wheel.

The rims are lightened inbetween the spoke insertion areas. This shaves weight yet maintains structural strength.

An assymetrically drilled rear rim enhances wheel dish and disperses stress placed on the wheel.

A carbon fibre hub adds a degree of luxury and in practical terms keeps the weight of the wheelset down to a minimum. Internally Campagnolo Record bearings offer low spinning resistance, are durable and lightweight.

Wide, bladed aluminium spokes match the rim's titanium colour scheme and with external nipples are easy to maintain and replace if needed.

Upfront the spokes are positioned radially, whilst on the rear Campagnolo's innovative MegaG3™ spoke geometry has been used.

A Campagnolo freehub is compatible with 8/9/10-speed cassettes.
