Heads-Up Race Geometry The CAAD8 shares the proven race geometry of its more expensive bretheren but with a slightly taller head tube ( 1.5cm) for a more relaxed riding position.
Save Stays Optimised chain stay and seat stay shaping provides lateral rigidity while providing vertical compliance for bump absoption and comfort with no loss in power transfer.
Smooth Welds A true smooth weld rather than the sand, putty and paint 'smooth welds' found on other bikes. Cannondale's trademark double-pass smooth weld technology eliminates the stress-risers and weak points found on traditionally welded frames, enabling us to build lighter, stronger frames.
Asymmetric Chain Stays Just like on Cannondale's premium race bikes, Cannondale oversize and reshape the driveside chain stay to better handle the loads from the drivetrain, while keeping the non-drive stay svelte for weight savings.
Externally Machined Head Tube A technique Cannondale has used for years, excess material is precisely machined out of the low stress areas of the head tube, saving significant weight with no loss of strength.
BB30 System Fouond on both the 105 and Tiagra equipped models, BB30 is the epitome of system intergration. Cannondale invented BB30 13 years ago to take crank and frame performance to the next level and it has become the industry standard for stiffness and light weight.

Technical Specification
Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
