With its uncompromising specification and state of the art technology, the Cannondale Synapse Carbon 1 RLE Disc Road Bike reigns supreme on smooth tarmac, pitted roads and everything in between. All-new for this model year, this latest edition of the Synapse is an evolution of an already proven formula. It couples sublime vibration damping with reactive handling, delivering an addictive ride quality that sees the miles melt away. No distance is unachievable, and each frame size receives a unique carbon layup to provide tailored performance.
Cannondale Synapse Carbon 1 Components
At the heart of the new Synapse is the game-changing SmartSense system. Sleekly integrated into the bike are a Foresite front light, Hindsite rear light and a radar system that alerts the user to vehicles up to 140 metres away. Designed to be an extra set of eyes and ears, the SmartSense system keeps you focused, powered by a single quick-release battery, merged neatly into the downtube.
The Dura-Ace Di2 drivetrain is at the pinnacle of shifting, offering minimal weight and maximum performance. A HollowGram KNØT wheelset utilises DT Swiss 240 internals to ensure rapid acceleration off the line, while the ultralight carbon construction reduces rolling weight for a lively ride character. 30c Vittoria tyres deliver plush comfort and traction, and the frame itself has enough room for up to 35c rubber. Hydraulic disc brakes instil confidence on steep descents, offering powerful performance even in wet weather conditions.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
