Cannondale Synapse Carbon Tiagra Disc Road Bike 2019
The Cannondale Synapse Tiagra Disc is an endurance road bike designed to deliver a fast but comfortable ride to the rider who appreciates a truly excellent frameset.
Many people recommend buying the best frameset your budget can stretch to, and upgrading componentry as you see fit. With Cannondale's Synapse BallisTec frameset, you get a superb grade of carbon fibre that delivers the same stiffness and lightweight performance of models that cost twice as much. SAVE micro-suspension technology softens road buzz and takes the chatter out to keep the rider fresher for longer.
The Shimano Tiagra 10-speed groupset is capable and reliable, delivering crisp and responsive shifting. The cable routing is tidy, and with hydraulic disc brakes, you get unmatched modulated stopping power that performs in any weather.
In terms of gearing, you get a wide range with enough options to get you up any climb and help you set the pace on the flats too. The FSA Omega Alloy compact chainset is light and transfers power with efficiency to the 11-34t cassette.
A set of reliable wheels featuring Maddux RD 3.0 rims keep you rolling, with Vittoria Zaffiro 28mm tyres creating a decent volume of air between the road and the bike. There are hidden mudguard mounts in the frameset should you wish to ride this bike throughout the four seasons. Alternatively, you can fit up to 32mm wide tyres for even more comfort on the road.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
