Taking the aerodynamic road bike world by storm, the Cervelo S5 was first launched on the eve of the 2011 Tour de France and was instantly successful, taking Garmin-Cervelo Professional Cycling Team to seven days in the yellow jersey and two phenomenal stage wins. Using many of design cues and aerodynamic features found on Cervelo’s P-series time trial frames. The Cervelo S5 VWD DA Road Bike is stiff, lightweight, incredibly fast and uses top of the range equipment to make it the ultimate race, sportive or triathlon bike.
The dropped downtube design is incredibly aerodynamic and wraps, seamlessly, round the front wheel. Staying hydrated has never been faster than with the Cervelo S5 VWD DA Road Bike, incorporating carefully placed bottle cage bosses, allowing perfect efficiency in the wind, whether using bottles or not.
Shielded seatstays promote smooth airflow and give the bike a wind cheating advantage over competitors.
Component wise this bike is literally unbeatable. Offering a top of the line, Shimano Dura-Ace 9000 11-speed groupset, shifting effortlessly, light and looks stunning. Featuring a Rotor 3DF BBright ™ crankset with 52/36 chainrings, this setup is stiff and provides an attractive addition to the drivetrain.
The PF-30 BBright ™ bottom bracket shell is now 8% stiffer than ever before providing even more direct power transfer to the pedals.
The S5 uses only the finest finishing kit, with Mavic providing the stiff, lightweight, responsive and aerodynamic Cosmic Elite S Wheels, Mavic also supply the grippy, durable Mavic Yksion Comp tyres and Italian saddle specialists, Fizik, have added their ultra-comfortable, high performance Antares saddle.
3T add the finishing touches, with matching stem and handlebars, stiff, lightweight and provide a comfortable but direct ride.

Technical Specification
Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. Visit our Bike Assembly page to see how you assemble your new bike once you receive it.
All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
