Amalgamating a refined grade of carbon with a wind tunnel manipulated design, the DT Swiss ARC 1400 DICUT 50mm Disc Brake Rear Wheel excels across various road topography.

Aerodynamic experts SWISS SIDE have contributed their vast knowledge to help the 50mm deep rim slice through the air and remain composed when confronted with crosswinds. The rim is made from high-grade carbon fibre and blends low weight with lateral stiffness to afford spritely acceleration and consistent speed up steep ascents. A 20mm internal rim width is added to the design, and this works by supporting tubeless-ready or standard clincher tyres, helping them sit on the rim with a superior, U-shaped cross-sectional profile. This improved tyre shape lowers rolling resistance, enhances cushioning over bad roads and heightens cornering grip.

A torsionally stiff but svelte DT Swiss 240 hub houses silky smooth stainless steel bearings and also provides a structurally rigid foundation for disc brake rotor installation. The freehub boasts an EXP ratchet system to grant near-instant engagement when surging away from corners.
