DT Swiss Champion Spoke

The company now known as DT Swiss has been drawing steel in Biel for over 350 years, and their spokes are still made entirely in-house in Switzerland to the highest standards of quality and workmanship. The black version of their classic all-round spoke for everyday use offers DT's legendary quality and reliability, providing excellent value for money. 

The 14-gauge spoke is 2 mm thick throughout its length and is available in a wide range of sizes. It is made exclusively from Swedish X5 stainless steel, which is custom blended specifically for DT. 

The rolling of the nipple thread does not remove any metal from the spoke, preserving the grain of the material. This process maximises strength and greatly reduces the likelihood of failure at the threads, a common issue with lower quality spokes.
