Edco Optima Furka Wheelset
Ideal for time trials, triathlons and road racing, the Edco Optima Furka Wheelset is built with durability and speed in mind. A handbuilt wheelset, the sub 2 kilogram setup comes with either black on black or outline graphics. Which ever option you choose you are guaranteed a stunning looking wheelset.
Practical, the Furka is a clincher wheelset, which uses a durable 58 millimetre deep section rim. This rim is made from aluminium and carbon and is finished with a marble UD coating. Sapim are spoke experts and have added their Race db spokes to the package. The wheelset houses 20 round black spokes in the front and 24 in the rear.
Keeping everything together is the S.I.L.S. - Polyax Internal Sapim Integrated Locking system. The nipples are easy to maintain and make replacing spokes a simple prodecure.
The entire Optima range uses the SuperG black anodised hub system. This provides low rolling resistance via 2 radial stainless ball bearings.
Compatible with Campagnolo, Shimano and SRAM 10 and 11-speed cassettes, the wheelset uses an innovative Multisys unit.
Continental Grand Sport Folding tyres and QR-OC Customised Edco aluminium handle quick releases finish the wheelset off. Simply install a cassette and you are away.
