To create the fastest wheel available, a new rim profile dubbed LAW Tech was developed. LAW stands for 'Laminar Airflow Wing' and has been specifically engineered to enhance aerodynamics when using wider tyres, ensuring a smoother airflow.

Initial findings were demonstrated in the previously launched RYOT44 model, which is designed for overall performance and versatility.

They are now introducing the fastest road wheel on the market, the RYOT55! It surpasses its competitors in real-world conditions, as proven in wind tunnel tests. Featuring the LAW tech rim profile, the RYOT55 offers an aerodynamic advantage of 5 watts with 25mm tyre widths, whereas its predecessor, the F6 with DARC technology, performed best with 23mm tyres.

In wind tunnel tests compared to the most common competitors of RYOT55, an average advantage of between 1.5 and 2.7 watts was demonstrated. RYOT55 sets the benchmark for aerodynamic road wheels.

When taking the RYOT55 onto the road, these watt savings translate into equivalent results: either conserving energy or achieving greater speed with the same effort as before. This can make a significant difference in race finales or when sprinting against fellow cyclists during breaks.

Competing in aerodynamics is one aspect; weight is also crucial. At 1620 grams for the RYOT55, a durable set is crafted, offering exceptional stiffness performance due to the partial utilization of DT AeroComp spokes. The 21mm internal rim width results in an effective tyre width of 28.2mm when using 25mm tyres.

The RYOT55 is also constructed around the new DT Swiss 240 hubs, featuring an enhanced EXP ratchet system. The hub internals now provide even higher precision with rapid engagement, increased stiffness, and reduced weight, elevating the wheel's performance to new heights.

Crafted with meticulous precision and attention to detail, the RYOT55 is assembled at the facility in The Netherlands. The wheels are shipped as a complete package with accessories in a quality protective wheel bag.
