Want to go faster? Silly question really, of course you do! Felt have designed the AR FRD Frameset for just that purpose, to make you go faster than ever before. The Felt AR FRD Frameset has been extensively tested in a Low-Speed windtunnel in San Diego. With the feedback from testing and working closely with top sponsored athletes, Felt has created, what they claim to be, the fastest aero road frame on the market.
UHC Ultimate and TeXtreme® spread tow carbon fibre is strong, lightweight and molded specifically for aerodynamic efficiency, comfort and performance.
InsideOut construction is an innovative, internally optimised, molding process that eliminates excess material keeping the frames weight down to a mere 1.77 kilograms. This construction technique has been used on the BB30 shell and dropouts.
Individual sections of the frame have been created using Modular Monocoque construction, allowing each section to be developed specifically for a stiff, direct and comfortable ride.
Durability is provided by a 7075 CNC aluminium replaceable rear derailleur hanger and electronic internal cable routing keeps cables out of the way for a clean and fast look and reduces wear.
A frameset perfect for road races, triathlons or fast sportives. Available in a matte black colour scheme for that understated, stealth look.
