Description
Focus Cayo Disc Road Frameset 2016
The Focus Cayo Disc Road Frameset 2016 is your perfect frameset for a bike that isn't going to be pigeon-holed into one type of riding. With responsive geometry that is as well suited long endurance rides as it is to racing.
The Cayo frame comes with custom pipe diameters for each frame size. This offers an optimal ratio of weight to stiffness, without sacrificing comfort. The inner installation of the cables is achieved by a removable plate, which is mounted on the front of the head tube. This ensures the cables are routed optimally and cleanly in the frame and are protected from dirt and water.
Also featuring is the tapered headtube. This design reduces steering weight while increasing the headset stiffness and overall handling compliance. Focus' pressfit30 bottom bracket in conjunction with the large connection area to the frame allows for the unencumbered transfer of power through the pedals and down into the road.
The added bonus of the Concept EX seatpost and stem means that you have an ideal starting point for your build. More unique though is the Rapid Axle Technology (RAT) which gives the excellent strength and lateral stiffness of thru axles with the fastest wheel-change system ever. Time saved changing a wheel in a race or to repair a puncture during your commute is highly valuable.
