Designed for the most demanding of descents, the Focus Sam2 6.8 Electric Mountain Bike is ready to take on your next gravity fuelled challenge. More power means more laps - Bosch’s 625wh Powertube battery provides hours of playtime, a self-uplift perfect for winching you to the top of the next run. Featuring Bosch’s most powerful motor, the fourth generation performance CX provides assistance up to a maximum speed of 15.5 mph / 25 km/h, the Sam2 feels agile and nimble despite its long travel. It feels at home anywhere from the Alps to your local woods, instilling endless confidence no matter the terrain, excelling on more intimidating trails where traditional geometry is out of its depth.
Through the use of Focus’ electric mountain bike specific F.O.L.D kinematics, the Sam2 boasts 170mm of travel that is supple on the small hits but progressive enough to take your chances off the next lip. For 2021, Rock Shox’s all-new ZEB fork can be found specced on the 6.8. Featuring a wider 38mm stanchion platform, the ZEB is a premium enduro/freeride fork, designed to help the front wheel track better during impacts - perfect for aggressive electric mountain bikes like the Sam2. 29-inch wheels allow for incredible stability on rough terrain, holding speed through ruts and over rocks.
Fans of 27.5" wheels should not fear, by switching the orientation of the flip-chip you have the option to ride the smaller wheels if required. This reduces the chainstays to a super-short 430mm, shortening the wheelbase and providing a more nimble ride character. SRAM starts and stops the Sam2 with its GX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain and Code R respectively, with the powerful four piston brakes providing ample stopping power on even the steepest of runs.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
