Giro Synthe MIPS Helmet 2017
Used by Team BMC and Katusha, the Giro Synthe MIPS Helmet 2017 is the next generation of racing helmet. Fast on the flat and cool enough for the climbs, the Synthe MIPS weighs a mere 240 grams in its medium size, so there is no excuse for being dropped on a climb wearing this.
Sunglasses on or off, the eyewear docking ports provide a secure area to store your glasses when you are not wearing them.
A helmet for long rides, the X-Static® padding is discrete, washable and breathable. The lightweight webbing is non-obtrusive, with a Slimline™ buckle providing a secure closure. This is easy to use with one hand and makes adjusting the strap length a simple task.
The revolutionary MIPS system is integrated into the helmet's shell for discreet safety. The shell and liner are separated by a low friction layer that allows the helmet to slide relative to the head when the helmet is subjected to an angled impact. This dramatically reduces rotational forces on the brain by offsetting and spreading impact.
With 19 vents, in a range of stunning colours, all with subtle graphics, the Giro Synthe MIPS is one of the most exciting helmets on the market.
