Producing winning performances time and again, the HED Jet 9 Plus Clincher Rear Wheel can help you achieve your fastest times and is constructed from high-quality carbon fibre and aluminium.

HED's hybrid technology consists of a wide 'Plus' aluminium rim and an aerodynamic carbon skin to enable use of wide clincher tyres. Despite the extremely aerodynamic 90mm rim, you won't need to swap the wheel out in windier conditions. Stability Control Technology has a manipulated carbon skin so it performs like a far shallower rim on blustery days so you can still get the best in aerodynamics plus stability in crosswinds. Bonded to the aluminium plus rim, this technology increases the versatility of the wheel.

The change in tyre cross sectional profile resulting from a wider rim will make your ride more comfortable while decreasing rolling resistance and increasing grip in corners. A higher level of comfort and cornering confidence ultimately leads to faster times.

Sapim CX-Ray spokes have an aerodynamic profile and connect the rim to the Carbon FR Sonic hub. ABEC 5 stainless bearings rotate on an oversized axel that reduces peak loads on bearings for increased durability. This hubset is built to last and makes for extremely smooth rolling. Shimano, SRAM and Campagnolo compatibility allows every rider to utilise this wheel and servicing is made simple when all you need is two 5mm allen keys.

Lateral stiffness is guaranteed with 24 spokes in a 2-cross pattern and the wheel is supplied with a lightweight titanium skewer, valve extenders and air tight rim tape to offer an optional tubeless set up.
