Offering aero performance no matter what type of road riding you do, the HED Jet 6 Plus Standard Clincher Wheelset is perfect for triathletes, time trial specialists, road racers, sportive riders and weekend club riders.

Utilising HED's hybrid rim format with a wide aluminium plus rim and a finely tuned unidirectional (UD) carbon fibre skin, this wheelset's 60mm profile is built for aerodynamic performance no matter what the wind conditions are.

This finely tuned bond of the aluminium rim and carbon fibre skin creates a lightweight and aerodynamic profile that rivals the performance of all-carbon wheels. It does this without the high price tag.

The 25mm wide aluminium section of the rim is optimised for clincher tyres and uses a wider profile that promotes stability both on the flat and in corners. By widening the rim-to-tyre interface the tyre “sits” in a superior fashion altering its cross-sectional profile and increasing sidewall stability. This alters the tyre-to-road “footprint” making it shorter but wider. This results in a lower rolling resistance and increased cornering grip.

The UD skin is created using HED's Stability Control Technology (SCT) which boasts the same aerodynamic performance in the wind tunnel as an 80mm rim depth without the extra bulk. The result is a fast rolling and ultra-aerodynamic wheelset that is built to go fast.

For the hubs, HED has utilised their Sonic hubset with its super grade stainless steel bearings and oversized axles for improved rolling performance and bearing life. Compatible with SRAM or Shimano 10/11-speed cassettes, the freehub is easy to maintain and can be serviced easily with two 5mm Allen keys.

Weighing in at 1734g, the wheelset comes complete with titanium quick release skewers, two valve extenders and tubeless compatible airtight rim tape.
