Huub Aegis 2 Wetsuit
Entry-level wetsuits do not come more fully formed than the Huub Aegis 2 Wetsuit. Huub's goal when creating the suit was to improve comfort, speed, usability and durability when compared to the first Aegis model. They have certainly achieved this goal with the inclusion of ultra-comfortable Japanese smoothskin neoprene in every area of the suit.
Huub's 3:5 buoyancy pattern is designed to accommodate swimmers who tend to let their legs drop in the water. This pattern uses 3mm thick neoprene around the chest and 5mm thick neoprene around the legs. This helps to lift your legs in the water, creating the downhill swimming motion that reduces drag and improves technique.
Flexibility has been enhanced around the shoulders and leg joints with the placement of extra stretch panels and the speed cut of the ankle holes makes the suit easier to get off in transition.
The zipper is housed in a sleek and low profile break-away sheath, which reduces drag while still allowing you to quickly and easily undo the suit in the transition zone.
