Huub Aerious II Wetsuit
Stay in the lead with the Huub Aerious II Wetsuit. Let's face it, most of us did not come to triathlon through swimming, so a wetsuit that is designed to help non-native or 'sinky leg' swimmers is definitely welcome.
The Huub Aerious II Wetsuit is designed with a 3:5 buoyancy pattern. This means that 5mm thick neoprene is used on the legs and 3mm thick neoprene is added to the chest. This helps to enhance your overall buoyancy but in particular lift your legs in the water. This makes your profile through the water more hydrodynamic and efficient. By promoting the downhill swimming position, you are able to generate more power with less effort.
Huub's 3mm neoprene chest panel combines with ultra-flexible arm and shoulder construction. This is designed to provide you with a full range of movement in the water so you can fully integrate your technique from the pool into the open water.
By doing this the suit also has a reduced frontal drag profile when compared to previous models. Put simply, less drag means swimming faster. This also translates to the low-profile lie flat zip panel on the suit's rear. this protects the zip from dragging in the water while still making it easy to reach and quickly undo going into the first transition.
Also improved is the wetsuit's X-O Skeleton. This brings all of the separate buoyancy and stability elements of the suit together into one cohesive system, creating a more comfortable and stable swimming experience.
